Audiologic Strengthens its Value-Add Position with Key Personnel Changes and New Hires
06/02/2024
Audiologic announces a number of strategic changes in its operations to capitalise on significant growth in 2023.
Kristy Shepherd: Senior Marketing Manager
Effective 8th January 2024, Kristy joins Audiologic as Senior Marketing Manager bringing two decades of marketing experience from the audio visual industry, including 13 years at Reflex, and more recently running her own marketing company.
Kristy expressed her enthusiasm about joining Audiologic, adding “I started in the audio visual industry at the same time as Audiologic was founded, so whilst developing my career, Audiologic has always been alongside me as a trusted and respected brand. To now be a part of the team that I have grown with, is an exciting opportunity to build out and execute on a defined go-to-market strategy.”
Laura Davidson: Internal Business Manager
Effective 2nd January 2024, Laura moves into the Business Manager team from Internal Sales to take on the role of an Internal Business Manager.
It has become very clear over the last two years since the first internal business manager role was created, that there is much more business outside of the scope of our usual regular AV customers. Stuart Leader, Senior Sales Manager at Audiologic comments “Laura will be a great addition to the Business Manager team with an already solid knowledge from her time working on Internal Sales.”
Since 2019, the ever expanding Marketing function at Audiologic has been supported and subsequently led exclusively, since 2020, by OLEX Communications, a leading agency in Audio, Music and Technology. They continue to support and consult Audiologic through these changes and gratefully continue their efforts at group level with the EAV Group, who acquired Audiologic in 2022, with both strategic and operationally led marketing initiatives.
Andy Lewis, Managing Director at Audiologic concludes: “I am delighted to welcome Kristy to the Senior Management Team at Audiologic, and welcome Laura’s development path at Audiologic - internal development of staff is equally as important as making new hires. A ‘people first’ ethos has always been of focus and these moves strengthen our offering and value to those we service.
Kristy brings years of industry experience and her ideas align well with our objectives. Laura has proven that she can now craft the internal skills learned internally to a more customer facing role.
OLEX has undoubtedly positioned Audiologic (externally) as a true-value added distributor over the years, something we’ve been perfecting for almost 20 years now. Their achievements for us have been second to none. They’ve made some critical decisions which include a new website, revolutionising our customer engagement and CRM systems, pivotal campaign activity such as Tech Tuesdays and maintaining the most successful media engagement we’ve seen to date.”
