Audiologic brings senior marketing head onboard

We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Mark Flanagan as Head of Marketing, in a move that underlines our continued ambition and investment for growth.

Flanagan comes aboard as part of wider additions to the sales and marketing team and a move to new premises including customer-facing training facility, in tandem with the company celebrating 20 years in business.

Responsible for driving marketing activities in support of Audiologic’s key brand portfolio as well as developing brand identity and reach for Audiologic itself, he’ll be leaning on 25 years’ experience in various technology marketing roles. Over a dozen of those years were spent in audio having spent 6 years at Tannoy and Lab.gruppen (under TC Group ownership) and 7 years prior at MI & Pro-audio chain Sound Control & Turnkey.

Having spent the last decade in executive sales & marketing leadership of a global laboratory technology firm, Flanagan was motivated to return to the AV world; eager to bring strategic and commercial experience back to bear on a subject matter that is as much a passion and obsession for him than it is business.

Flanagan brings a wealth of experience in technology marketing including over dozen years in audio.

Twisting his arm for a comment, Flanagan mused “I never stopped thinking about audio technology after leaving the industry in 2014, I’d still find myself looking up in restaurants, airports and venues to spot the loudspeakers or glimpse at the desk or equipment rack whenever I could. It’s in your DNA I think, once you discover it, it’s impossible to ignore. When Audiologic came my way, there wasn’t much hesitation – it’s clear the company is on the move in more ways than one and I’m looking forward to bringing experience and passion together to help shape the next phase.
