Anna Shahin takes on senior role in technical team

Anna Shahin has been promoted to the newly created role of Application Support Manager within Audiologic’s industry-leading technical applications team. Since taking on the role in October, Anna is now responsible for leading systems design and day-to-day management of the fast-growing applications support team at Audiologic.

Having been recognised with a Rising Star Award at the 2021 AV Awards, and more recently named in the Inavate EMEA 40 under 40, Anna is certainly living up to the accolade, going from strength to strength over the last few years here at Audiologic.

Anna’s passion for audio began during her studies, where she graduated with a first-class degree in Audio Recording and Production. Following a variety of roles, she joined Audiologic 6 years ago in an Application Support Engineer capacity and has gone on to become a key pillar of the award-winning distributor’s technical team in the intervening years.

As a woman in the AV industry - and indeed the first woman on her team (but notably not the last) - Anna is a committed advocate for women in the AV and professional audio industry. An active member of both Women in Live Music and AVIXA Women’s Council, Anna has become a consistent and recognisable voice for inclusion and representation in what has been a traditionally male-dominated industry.

Anna will continue to report to Audiologic's long-standing Senior Technical Manager, Ben Spurgeon. With her stepping up to this new senior role, this allows him to focus more on strategic development and growth initiatives around Audiologic's technical application and customer support expertise.
