Audiologic Delivers a New Standard of Hybrid Teaching at the University of Birmingham
Case Study
Taunton school focuses on ensuring that students are prepared for their lives beyond education, in a rapidly changing world. Throughout their lives, children will work closely with people from across the globe and must adapt to a world of ever-changing technology.
The school has a 56-acre campus with class-leading facilities. Lessons are taught in well-equipped, spacious and modern classrooms.
The audio-visual integration company, Practical AV, have been in charge of the project design for the main dining room, consisting of two rooms that can function as independent areas or as a single space.
The team was led by Owen Finney, alongside Audiologic’s Application Support Team. Together, they designed and specified a sound system centralising around an Ecler MIMO processor, with Ecler loudspeakers and amplification, as well as Shure wireless microphone systems.
Owen Finney comments: “Audiologic is our exclusive distributor for audio products with a particular focus on the high-end market. The Ecler and Shure products used were a perfect fit for Taunton School in terms of both performance and aesthetics. The newbuild dining halls at Taunton School offered the perfect opportunity for a brand new, designed from scratch, high specification AV system.
Practical AV have been working with Audiologic for many years. They are able to provide design, implementation and on-site support, which we find unparalleled in quality.”
What we say...
“It is always a pleasure to work with Practical AV and the Taunton School project was no different. At Audiologic, we pride ourselves on designing and specifying the best equipment for the job and the system for Taunton School was no different. We hope the students enjoy the benefits for many years to come.”
